Sour Cream Pound Cake
Sift flour and measure. Add salt and soda. Cream butter and sugar until very light and fluffy. Add eggs one at at time and mix well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour. Fold in sour cream as you would beaten egg whites. Add flavorings. Bake at 275 for 1 ½ hours. i personally bake the cake at 300 degrees as it doesn't seem to get quite done at 275. It might just be my oven. |
