Seven Layer Salad

  • 1 16 oz. can refried beans

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • pkg. (1oz.) Hidden Valley Original Ranch salad dressing mix

  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

  • 1 4 oz can diced or chopped green chilies (drained)

  • 1 2.5 oz. can sliced black olives (drained)

  • 1/4 cup each shredded cheddar and Monterey jack cheese

 

Spread beans on a 10 inch serving platter. Blend sour cream and dressing mix - spread over beans. Layer remaining ingredients.

Note: taste better if the sour cream and dressing mix are mixed together a few hours ahead of time to allow the flavors to blend.

Optional: jalapeņo peppers and guacamole
