Saucy Chicken

  • 4 chicken breast

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce

  • 1 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained

  • 1/2 cup milk

Rinse chick and pat dry. Mix flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag. Add chicken, tossing to coat. Cook chicken in oil in skillet until brown. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Simmer, covered for 20 minutes or until tender. Remove chicken to platter. Stir milk into skillet. Cook until bubbly stirring constantly. Spoon over chicken. Yield: 4 servings
