- 1 ½ C Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 oz red food coloring
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 C Wesson cooking oil
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 ½ Cup plain flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Cup buttermilk
Cream sugar and oil, add eggs, beat well, and add
vinegar and food coloring. Beat well, sift dry ingredients and add
alternately with milk. Add vanilla, beat well, Pour into cake pan, and
bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 Box powdered sugar or three cups
- 1 8 oz package cream cheese plus 4 oz.
1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Cream butter and cheese, add vanilla and sugar, mix
well add nuts and spread on cake.
