Best Chocolate Cake

 

2 cups plain flour

3 tablespoons cocoa

2 cups sugar

teaspoons soda

1 stick oleo   cup buttermilk
cup Wesson Oil 2 eggs
1 cup water  1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Mix flour and sugar and set aside. Bring oleo, water, oil and cocoa to a boil and pour over flour and sugar. Mix well. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla and eggs. Bake in a greased 9x13 pan for 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Frost. 

Frosting:

1 stick oleo
 6 tablespoons buttermilk
 3 tablespoons cocoa

Add to cocoa mixture:

1 box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 cup chopped pecans

 Pour Warm Frosting over hot cake in pan.
